CLEAN and CLEAR

Busy with school... Busy with work... Busy with business... BUSY BUSY BUSY! Sometimes i feel like I'm barely living my life. Oh well. This law thing is driving me nuts.

Anyhow, here's a long overdue post! Wore this last time we went to Baguio to spend my birthday! Yey! Who wouldn't love BAGUIO?! The lush greens, the cool weather, the only place i can wear all white ensemble without going grey over a couple of hours!... my family and I are actually thinking of settling down there for good.

Will talk more about it next time. Oh yes... I'm in a hurry again! Pardon me. I promise we'll talk more next time. :)

WHITE AND RAMEN

Hi there!

I know it has been quite a while since my last post. Can't blame me... I have to go back to school. Which means less free-time more reading. Anyway, I know you guys understand me so, let's go to the main programming, shall we?

Wore this when I attended a benefit bazaar in Mc Kinley at Venice Piazza last May 16. It was the bazaar presented by World Vision and One For the Youth

My friend, who owns Li's Closet (Libebi on IG), was initially invited to participate the bazaar but because of short notice, he had to decline due to some other commitments. We decided that since he wasn't able to join the bazaar, why not participate? Drop by the place, buy some stuff to help the organization...nice one right?!

Since the event is outdoors and starts noon of summer, i decided to keep everything light and easy. Wore a white airy tennis shorts, light denim button down, a pair of native flats, a ring and some white stacks from my friend's shop (hay! perks of having a friend who owns a bling shop!). I also wore my new Casio Vintage watch.

The weird part of the day, despite the humidity and warm weather, my tummy  craved for some Japanese Ramen... (uber weird, right?!). So we decided to try Ramen Bar!

I recommend Ramen Bar! Super yum, big servings, very reasonable price! I had such a great time visiting the place and I'll definitely come back!

So that's all for now folks, I will see you soon!

WHITE ROCK

If there's one color I will never get tired of wearing, it'll be WHITE.
There's something about this pure color that makes you feel fresh and light even after a long day.
I also consider this color as the easiest to style.

Wear white with a pair of shorts for that beach, outdoorsy feel, khakis and a pair of loafers for that casual daytime event, or with a pair of basic jeans for simple yet classy for that chill and relax peg.

With white, you can wear colorful accessories for that happy vibe, you can go with metallic, gold and silver, for that classy feel or you can go black and stones for that rock-star look.

Just like this look, I tried to go all the way "rockstar" as i wore my white with black, faux ostrich leather cuffs and some serious rings :).
Since i took my blings seriously, I choose to wear a pair of good jeans to complete the tough-rough look.

The shoes I went on pointy-black shiny classics to make this rocker look a little bit polished.

To complete the feel, my friend even edited this plain white button-down, he added some stones on the pockets,  changed the plain buttons into silver ones to match my blings. Creativity at it's finest!

We are on our way to a family trip. Yes. I know, just now.
We choose to do it just now in order to prevent clashing with other bakasyonistas.

A couple of days more and everyone will be back to school!
Will try to give some styling tips next week!

See you soon!

SIMPLICITY

Will keep this post simple and short.

Before i learn how to dress up crazily, matching colors and all, altogether, i started out dressing this way... SIMPLE. You know, a pair of button down, basic jeans, a pair of shoes, a watch, some blings, and a pair of shades.

Wearing simple items all together makes you presentable and safe especially if you're not pretty sure of what the dress code is. But you have to be careful because they can sometimes make you look boring.

To spice things up, when you are wearing basic/common/simple pieces, never forget to accessorize.
A multicolored-but-not-so-loud bracelet, a ring  and a very very decent watch will do the trick.
A nice pair of sunnies will also help you look more savvy in your simple outfit.

As i mentioned, i'm keeping this post short and simple.
I've shown you the SIMPLE... now this is the short. Ciao!

BASIC GRAFFITI

I consider SHOES as men's basic need. You know, like food, water, love (cheesy!). ahaha. With that being said, when a friend invited to a place where they make shoes, I immediately said YES!

Marikina City is known as the SHOE CAPITAL of the Philippines since 1956. Since then, the shoe making industry in the city have grown tremendously. Soon enough, the place was known, not just in the Philippines, but around the world, producing high quality shoes. To know more about the place, we decided to go to their cute museum. According to my friend, who LOVES shoesssss (for emphasis), this cute museum houses former First lady Imelda Marcos's shoesssss (oh yeah!)

Enough of me blabbing about the place, let's talk about that I wore.
Since it was a day trip, middle of summer, I went for a clean, breathable and basic clothes.

Basics are a very safe option when going out in an unfamiliar territory. Its the simplest way of looking put together. Add some blings and some comfy shoes... and you're good to go!

In taking outfit shots, since you're wearing basics, you might wanna find a colorful spot to strike a pose, like this graffiti wall i found. If you can't find anything like this, opt to take a garden shot or anywhere where there is color!
